Ampleforth College

FOCUS:
Community, faith and scholarship
Steeped in history and beautiful countryside, the Benedictine mission and ethos is at the very centre of an Ampleforth education. Known as the pre-eminent Catholic school in the UK, originally all boys, it has now been fully co-ed since 2010.  Their mission is to educate the mind, body and soul of each pupil, offering a compass for life in a community which recognizes the value of each person. Pupils leave Ampleforth with a strong sense of self, confident but not arrogant whilst the high standard of academics and the varied co-curricular programme ensures that the majority of pupils go on to study at globally recognised universities.
