St Christopher’s School Bahrain

FOCUS:
Educating for a shared humanity
St Christopher’s Bahrain, established in 1961 is one of the oldest international schools in the region.  It retains its vibrant and friendly community welcoming students from many nationalities. Principal Dr Simon Watson says, “We pride ourselves on maintaining a warm and mutually respectful atmosphere, where our children leave fully prepared to meet head-on the challenges and vagaries of life in our rapidly changing world.” Although not academically selective on entry, its careful tracking and focus on metacognition and well-researched pedagogy ensures many students go on to study at top universities all over the world.  The school also boasts extended Sports, Arts and Activities provision (known as SPARTA) making use of the excellent facilities on campus.
