The Doon School (India)

FOCUS:
Ethical citizens
India’s premier school is situated in a beautiful 70 acre campus in the foothills of the Himalayas. Established in 1935 and modelled on British boarding school principles, the school pioneered the concept of social service and this lies at the heart of their ethos. Boys develop a strong intellectual character and are encouraged to be creative and courageous, to relish the school community and the companionship of their peers, and to nurture the leader within. Alongside rigorous academics there are a wealth of sporting and cultural activities on offer. The school is a member of the Round Square group and pupils go on to Ivy League and Oxbridge colleges, as well as prestigious Indian Universities.
