Scots College (New Zealand)

FOCUS:
Let education build all-round character
Scots College in Wellington was originally founded in 1916, as a boys’ day and boarding school,  and only recently admitted girls in 2020. As a Presbyterian school, their ethos is rooted in Christian faith and teachings, but the school embraces inclusivity and respect for different perspectives. Organised around a House system, students’ welfare is prioritised, using a unique wellbeing framework developed specifically for Scots. The pupils flourish academically, with a future-focussed education which aims to offer opportunities for all students, on the sports field (the school partners with Tottenham Hotspur football club) and in the arena of arts & cultural activities, based around the school’s state-of-the-art Creative & Performing Arts Centre.
