Rugby School, Japan

FOCUS:
Taking time to know each child
Located in the heart of Kashiwanonha Smart City, east of Tokyo, this is the first outpost of a British public school to open in Japan. Building on Rugby’s “Whole Person, Whole point’ philosophy, this new school aims to encourage its pioneer pupils to be a community of curious, versatile and collaborative learners. The traditional holistic approach of a British public school education will be replicated here with access to extracurricular opportunities such as dance, music, academic societies, and guest speakers. With a full-size international quality Rugby pitch and a dining room shaped like a rugby ball, the sport will feature prominently on the agenda.
