Green School, Bali

FOCUS:
A global community of learners for a sustainable world
The Green School founded in Bali in 2006, has now created a global movement with campuses in New Zealand, South Africa and Mexico. Their progressive style of education offers a ‘living’ curriculum in a nature-immersed environment, integrated with the local community. The interdisciplinary approach allows pupils to make connections between subjects and the innovative curriculum culminates in a globally recognised High School Diploma and in most cases a local qualification too. The Green Way curriculum is delivered via a thematic, experiential and proficiency framework which focuses on building the knowledge and skills for solving real-world problems and encouraging pupils to make an impact purposefully and sustainably. The distinctive ethos of these schools is praised by leading environmentalists such as Dr. Jane Goodall.
